Abstract

This research work studied utilizing adult and non-formal education for redressing low women’s access to education towards national security. The study defined Adult Education, Non-Formal Education, women education and Adult and Non-formal education. The study further expatiated on the aims of adult and non-formal education. It further investigated women’s role in development, reasons for low turnout of women in Adult and Non-Formal Education programmes and how to enhance women’s access to adult and non-formal education programmes towards promoting national security. Conclusion was drawn and some recommendations made
